Normally blogs start with a first post along the following lines:
"Hello, my name is xyz. This is my first blog post. I hope you guys like it. I'll do my best to make it a good blog and keep you guys updated about the latest happenings in my life".
Well...screw that dude. There is no first post in my blog. This may technically be it, but I'm not going to let that be the way I start my blog.
So, what's the topic of this post then? Read on if you're interested.
Good, looks like you came here to read something after all. Like so many people I've seen, or to be more precise, who's blogs I've read, it appears that the norm is to start a blog a little after you join IIT. Well, I'll join in a little while and I feel like starting one. I've been here two days and I can tell you one thing. It kicks ass! If life on the outside was like driving an Ambassador, then life in IIT is like driving a Ferrari with nitrous attached. Man, it is awesome. Yesterday, I came to the lab, and talked with my Prof.
Me: "Hello sir."
Prof: "Ok, so tell me in a minute why you are here."
Things like this are the reason why people here accomplish so much. Less time wasted on idle banter (mind you, there is plenty of time for that at night, but not in the lab), more time spent actually doing something. I'd write more, but I read somewhere that people prefer shorter posts. I'll vary it as I like and check out the feedback. Till next time folks.
